Current Climate: Lorenzo's House is a global nonprofit dedicated to supporting families grappling with the challenges of younger-onset dementia (YOD). Founded in 2021 by the widow of Lorenzo, who passed away in his 40s due to the disease, the organization has rapidly grown to serve families across 44 states and 16 countries.
With a mission to cure isolation, build community, and drive dementia justice, Lorenzo's House offers a range of virtual programs designed to empower young people and their families. These programs include one-on-one peer support, community-building activities, and global youth summits.
Challenge: Expanding the organization's reach and fundraising capabilities to support more families.
Scope Of Work:
- Assist in building the organization's fundraising infrastructure, including individual donor cultivation, corporate partnerships, and grant writing.
- Leverage the Global Shapers network to raise awareness about younger-onset dementia.
- Support social media marketing efforts and build a strong donor base.
- Help craft compelling narratives to engage donors and supporters.
